Alhama de Murcia is on the foothills of the beautiful, mountainous Sierra Espuna Regional Park , it is shrouded in history. The Arabs built the castle on the hill to defend it from the Christians, and gave it the name of Alhamman. Today Alhama is a busy town with a bustling street market. |
