Jumilla is set in the mountainous area to the north of the region, the flat fertile land at the bottom of the wide valleys is idea for growing vines and soft fruit. Jumilla wine is becoming famous throughout Spain and you can even buy it in the UK. The surrounding area is particularly beautiful in Spring when the blossom is out and in Autumn when the leaves are a blaze of colour on the fruit trees. |
